Arleen is a highly experienced financial professional having spent the last 33 years in various accounting roles in both publicly listed companies and public practice. She has an in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards. She specialized in financial reporting, auditing, financial modeling, and strategic planning. She holds qualifications as a Certified Practicing Accountant in Australia and a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines. A graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (Accounting major) from University of Santo Tomas. Her data storytelling ability makes her exceptionally valuable to non-accountants and stakeholders. Hiking is her way to bond with nature.

Jeff Minch

Fractional CFO / Financial Data Analytics Expert

Jeff brings a rare talent for translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that help entrepreneurs unlock their company’s potential. With experience as both CFO and COO across organizations of all sizes—and as an entrepreneur who has built and successfully exited his own businesses—he’s found his calling working with small- and medium-sized companies. Jeff specializes in identifying untapped growth opportunities and diagnosing what’s holding businesses back, then delivering practical recommendations that operators can implement right away.

A first-generation college graduate who earned his MBA from Wharton, Jeff combines analytical rigor with real-world perspective. When he’s not working with numbers and processes, you’ll find him pursuing his passion for fitness as a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.

Rafael “Rafa” Rodrigues

Senior Payroll Manager

Rafael “Rafa” Rodrigues is Cove’s Senior Payroll Manager and has been with the firm since its inception in 2014. With a background rooted in entrepreneurship, Rafa brings a strong operational mindset and a deep appreciation for the critical role payroll plays in supporting growing businesses.

Rafa manages payroll for clients across a wide range of industries, including construction, retail, professional services, franchise operations, and automotive. His experience spans multi-state payroll, compliance coordination, and ongoing support to ensure clients remain accurate, timely, and compliant as their businesses scale.

Outside of work, Rafa enjoys fast cars, exploring the outdoors, fishing, and traveling. His commitment to his clients is second to none, and he takes pride in being a reliable, detail-oriented partner businesses can count on.

Lee Ferreira

Senior Accounting Associate & Executive Assistant

Lee Ferreira is a Senior Accounting Associate & Executive Assistant at Cove Professional Services, where she has been a trusted member of the team for over 10 years. She holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting and supports a wide range of client engagements across the professional services, retail, and automotive industries.

In her dual role, Lee assists with day-to-day accounting operations, client communications, and internal firm coordination, helping ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuity across client accounts. Her long-standing tenure with Cove reflects her deep institutional knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting both clients and the firm’s leadership.

Outside of work, Lee enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors through hiking, and traveling whenever she gets the opportunity.

Stella Jean Ubanan
